Weekend Football Match: Nagoya Grampus vs Jubilo Iwata
I went to Toyota Stadium, a football stadium at my Town this Saturday.
This is the home stadium of a Japanese football club, Nagoya Grampus. The club has two Japan national team players. Goalkeeper Narazaki and striker Tamada who scored against Brazil in World Cup 2006 match.
The opponent of Nagoya Grampus on the match I saw, Jubilo Iwata is one of the strongest team in Japenese football league (J-League). They have Japan best goalkeeper Kawaguchi who actually made a lot of big saves in this match.
The end score is 0-0. Definitely, not a good score for people like me who love to see some goals. However, I still had a great time being there in among the crowds.
I also noticed a lot of billboards of untargeted ads from big companies. From a point of view of a direct marketer, they are such a waste of money. No direct sales will be made from those ads but surely those companies will get they name widely seen as the TV station covered the match.
I wonder how much you need to put your ads at the football stadium?
Anyways, if you’re an online business entrepreneur (onlinepreneur), you should also open your eyes on offline things. They are sometimes inspirational. You can do this anytime at anyplace.
Just like I did.
