.I just got my shipping of ProBlogger Book from Amazon a few days ago. Now, this book is my night reading just before I sleep.

ProBlogger has been a great resource for me and it should be the case for you too.

If you ever wanted to start your own blog, then you must consider reading this book before publishing your first post. You need to find out what it takes to develop an establish blog.

“A Whole New Mind”, that’s the title of the book by Daniel H. Pink.

It challenges you to ask these questions to yourself about your current job:

  • Can someone overseas do it cheaper.
  • Can a computer do it faster?
  • Am I offering something that satisfies the nonmaterial, transcendent desires of an abundant age?

    • If ‘YES’ is the answer then you must consider to change what you’re currently doing.

    The book explains how people in developing countries like India or China have taken jobs from developed countries like US or Japan.

    If you are living at a developed country, then you are in danger that someone overseas will take your job once and for all.

    The author of the book is suggesting you to use your “right brain”.

    You see …

    Jobs that require only technical skills, rather than creativity.

    Jobs that require only operational skills, rather than concept making skills,

    Jobs that are low-valued have been moved to cheaper skilled labour.

    That’s why, in order to survive and stay at the top of the game, you will have to increase your creativity and start thinking at ‘concept’ level.

    You will need to become the architect and not the builder. This is where your right brain comes to play. Inside the book, the author suggests dozens of ways to train your right brain in order to increase your creativity.

    One training that I like is to train yourself to create a short story.

    I like it, because in marketing, it’s all about creating a story about a product. This ability will not stop paying you the reward. The more compelling story you can make, the more sales you can generate online.
