Breaking The Obstacles Of Success
What is holding you back from success?
Most of the answers can be tracked back to yourself. Yes, you! You are probably the biggest obstacle of your own success.
Give your self a time to reflect. Ask yourself, have you ever done the following:
- Do you underestimate your own business?
Have you ever said, “My business is small. Nothing special about it”, when people asked about your business?. That’s just a wrong way to answer. What you should say is “My business currently has only small volume of sales but we are growing it”.
- Do you discourage yourself?
Again, when people ask about your business, do you often shut yourself out and say, “Don’t ask about my business. My business is still small. I’ll tell you about it when it grows big”. By doing this, you’re not just discouraging yourself but also you are also discouraging people from becoming your future clients or promoting your business.
- Are you losing faith on your own business?
If you don’t have the faith and confident about your business, then no one will. No one! How can you motivate other people to do business with you if you don’t have the confident about your own business? Think about it. “Sell your business as soon as possible. Be confident!”.
- Are you closing the opportunities?
If you underestimate and do not proud of your own business, then nobody will have interest in your business. And that’s just a attitude to run a business. You should make other people to become your “marketing army” of your business. Make other people promote your business. Tell as many people as possible about your business. Or if necessary ask other people to spread the words about your business to their families. Give incentive (commissions) to get the words spread like crazy.
- Are you showing that you don’t have “selling skill”?
If you are saying to other people that making them underestimate your business, then that is the indication you don’t have “selling skill”. You have to change this if you want to grow your business. This change is doable and is a must.
Sell your business as early as possible. Create interest in other people’s mind about your services, your products, or anything that you are offering.
Remember that “selling skill” is the embryo of entrepreneurship. This skill starts with the right mind set: be proud of your own business.
OK, up to this point I have shared a general issue and you are probably wondering what specific things or skills you should have as an online business entrepreneur.
Well, my message to you is don’t be shy even if you are still a newbie, your website is new and you only have a handful of visitors. Like I said, be proud of your own business or nobody else will.
You are a business owner and not an employee. You should be proud of that and start sell your business as early as possible.
In order to do that, you need to acquire one important skill: web copywriting. This skill is important because:
- You can measure your salesmanship with this skill. You can do this by measuring your sales letter (or any other marketing material) conversion rate. It will show you point blank, how ‘good’ your salesmanship is.
- It brings sales to your business. Sales grow your business.
- It will pay you forever and it is fun to acquire.
If I have to show you now, one good resource for copywriting then it would be this resource. This resource will show you that copywriting is both a science and an art, and it is a skill that anyone can learn.
